Welcome Back!!!
Dear Parent(s) and Students,
Welcome to the beginning of a new school year! We look forward to seeing you at our Open House and Ice Cream Social on Wednesday, August 21st from 4:00-6:00 pm. Some important information is as follows:
The first day of school for the 2024-25 school year is Monday, August 26th. 5th and 6th grade students will report to their homeroom. Homeroom lists will be posted outside classrooms. 7thgrade students will report to the Cafeteria and 8th grade students will report to the Gymnasium. All new students will start their day in the Media Center. Schedules will be available at the open house on Wednesday, August 21st from 4-6pm. Families not able to attend the open house will be able to view and print schedules from Skyward no later than Friday, August 23rd
Skyward log in information is the same as last school year. Log in information does not change from year to year and will stay the same all through your school career at WB-RC.
The school building will open at 8:30 for students. 5th & 6th grade students will enter via the two story 6th grade entrance. 7th & 8th grade students will enter via the cafeteria. Bus riders will enter as follows: 5th & 6th grade through the doors near the SES media center & 7th & 8th grade doors near Mrs. Okray’s classroom. School staff will be available and helpful in guiding your student. Classes begin at 8:45 daily.
Falcon gear will be available on an online store in the near future. Watch for the link on our website and Facebook page!
Please visit the SMS webpage, www.wbrc.org, for our student handbook and other important information. If you would like a paper copies, they will be available in the SMS main office.
You may contact the Transportation Department, at 343-2240, for updated bus routes and pick-up times. If you have any changes in your address, telephones or emergency contacts, please contact the school office and bus garage as soon as possible.
We will continue to serve breakfast and lunch to all students, free of charge, again this year. Food service applications are still required to be turned in. Student ID cards will be used for breakfast and lunch as they have been done in the past.
SMS offers a number of clubs, activities and sports. We encourage all students to be engaged in activities that match their own personal interests. Specific information will be in the daily announcements which are posted on the school website.
